About this Work

I’m seeing my work more often as medicine. Yes, for me, in big ways. And my hope is for others, too.

The depths have always been home for me, and it’s where I’ve spent most of my time.

With this painting - “Into the Deeps” - I’m feeling those who struggle to drop into the depths of themselves.

If this is you, I feel this piece may serve in guiding you - below the domain of the thinking mind, into the waters of the heart and the seas of the soul. The cool colors, the soft downwardness, the trust of whales, dolphins, swimmers and more, all following the guidance of this sea-born mare.

You and I can follow, too. Inward, downward. It need not be claustrophobic - it can be immensely freeing, opening us into the deepest intimacy with our own soul… and to the Origin of our soul.
