About this Work

Three howler monkeys… the wild creativity inherent in everything. In us! I feel it, sometimes, so huge. What to do with it all?! Sometimes, so as not to go crazy… I paint it.

A sky darkens into an indigo night. A village rises, a boy appears, close.

The deep cool colors ask for the boy to stoke a fire through the night. The whole thing a spontaneous, rich unfolding of the mystery. This painting, unplanned. My life, uncharted. A simple unfolding. Don’t question the what or why, just meet what arises, be deeply inside it, express it, set it free, allow it life.
