About “Star Tale”
I created this original chalk/pastel painting for Boulder’s Southern Sun Pub & Brewery in the winter/spring of 2012. At the end of the season, the artwork was erased. At the time, I was totally intrigued by the aesthetics of art nouveau. This is reflected in the borders, and those two little dancing rodents who were transplanted here, directly from a late 19th century illustration (not sure whose!).
