About “Dreamthreads III”
The third painting in the Dreamthreads series, this one began at 5am in the brick-exposed upper gallery of the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. While a throng of jubilant early-risers danced to music behind me, I relived the visions I’d been having for months. Visions in which I not only feel the presence of a black panther, but sometimes, I transform into one… fingers become sharpened claws, limbs sleek and powerful, eyes that perceive into the darkest shadows..
This is an original chalk/pastel painting created to complete the “Dreamthreads” series. The original lives in a client’s home.
